Product Designer - II

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and empathetic Interaction Designer. You will work closely with fellow designers, as well as cross-functional partners within the Product and Engineering groups to build intuitive and innovative user experiences for our internal tools and content management system.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with and across a team of engineers, product managers, researchers, and fellow designers to understand and identify our user needs and translate them into intuitive interactions and visually appealing interfaces
• Design product concepts that balance user needs with innovation, technical feasibility and business potential
• Create wireframes, mockups and prototypes to develop and communicate design concepts and direction
• Design the information architecture and interaction flows for a range of screen sizes and interaction models
• Collaborate with team members on user research, customer testing, and iterative feedback loops to evaluate
• Define and evolve design standards by helping to maintain and extend our publishing platform design system
• Help to define and evolve design standards and best practices

Required Skills
• 3+ years of experience creating user-centered design solutions, including for complex, internal-facing apps/tools
• Able to explain your design decisions to a range of stakeholders – including technical and non-technical audiences
• Knowledge and practice of Interaction design, UX principles and best practices, with an eye for visual design
• Experience applying research, usability testing, and data to inform design decisions
• Able to thrive within an iterative design process, open to and acting upon feedback
• A high level of proficiency creating prototypes with Figma and other tools
• Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or equivalent work experience
• A portfolio of work showcasing how content, design and interface work together to create great digital experiences - and the 'why' behind those design decisions

Good to Have:

Experience creating and maintaining corporate identities and associated design systems.
