Marketing Manager
I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
As an integral part of our Lifestyle Brand Marketing team, you will support the go-to-market pre-sale process and play a strategic role in driving revenue growth with advertising partners across print, digital, and event platforms. You'll collaborate closely with editorial teams and General Managers to develop impactful marketing programs, working alongside Vertical Marketing, Digital Sales, Print Sales, and Strategic Account teams to ensure our offerings effectively drive revenue growth.
In-office Expectations: This position offers remote work flexibility; however, if you reside within a commutable distance to our office in New York, the expectation is to work from the office three times per week.
II. About The Role | The expectations
• Brand Evangelist: Be an expert on your assigned brand(s) across all platforms; providing support and regularly continuing brand education to sales and marketing as needed
• Editorial Brand Strategy + Packaging: Work closely with the Editorial teams to develop and refine content strategies based on account-specific and vertical-specific insights; packaging and pricing accordingly in conjunction with your manager
• Editorial Brand Positioning: Assist in GTM strategy with internal teams to develop, create, and package go-to-market materials across the assigned brand(s)
• Develop Marketing Materials: Create presentations and sell sheets that communicate the brands' unique value proposition to advertising clients across all verticals
• Cross-Department Communication: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Content Strategy, Account Strategy, Editorial, Editorial Solutions, Events, Design, and more to ensure editorial programs are accurately reflected in client pitches
• Proactive Ideation: Create new opportunities grounded in the DNA of our brands and brought to life through well-written and visually-appealing materials
• Rollout New Opportunities: Present and rollout new brand-driven materials to Sales and Marketing teams across Dotdash Meredith, as needed
• Added Value Offerings: Oversee added value programs that drive revenue impact
• Pre-Sales Team Organization: Help marketing team with ongoing maintenance and creation of go-to-market materials such as Case Studies, Wrap Decks, One-Sheets and more

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
• Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills with an ability to execute visually impactful presentations (fluent in Keynote and Powerpoint)
• You're an excellent communicator, who remains poised under pressure and can tailor messages for different audiences
• You have an understanding of the advertising landscape, products, and trends; understanding of digital, print and/or programmatic marketplace is required
• You are a true self-starter – provide proactive ideas, understand organizational goals, and move initiatives forward
• You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00
