Email Marketing Manager
Dotdash Meredith is seeking an Email Marketing Manager for the Dotdash Meredith Travel Marketing (DDMTM) team to support one of their Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) clients. DDMTM is responsible for the strategy and execution of the client's content marketing program, including, but not limited to: printed publications, digital website content, email marketing, podcast, video marketing, and social media.
This role is hybrid 3 days a week in Dotdash Meredith's New York office.
Responsibilities:
The Email Marketing Manager will advise a major domestic DMO on their email strategy and execution in 5+ markets. This includes the following:
• Deploy twice weekly email campaigns to domestic email subscribers and monthly sends to 4+ international markets.
• Provide bi-weekly and monthly performance/insights to the client, as well as recommendations to optimize the email program.
• Develop and enact strategies for acquiring new subscribers, both domestically and internationally.
• Create and execute plans to increase engagement within the email marketing program, including conducting A/B tests, developing segmentation strategies, implementing dynamic content blocks, etc.
• Support and optimize advertising sales efforts in the newsletter product and provide recommendations on how to introduce new product offerings.
In addition, the Email Marketing Manager will advise the greater Dotdash Meredith Travel Marketing team on email marketing best practices and will support efforts to identify opportunities for other clients.

About The Positions Contributions:
Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
50% Day-to-day management of the client's email marketing program, including deployment in 5+ international markets, bi-weekly and monthly reporting, etc.
40% Develop strategies to optimize and grow the client's email marketing program including: list acquisition, opportunities to increase engagement, advertising sales, etc.
10% Support the greater Dotdash Meredith Travel Marketing team in identifying new email opportunities for other clients.
The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field (and/or equivalent, relevant work experience).
Experience:
3-5 years minimum of email marketing and/or relevant digital marketing experience.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to provide the client with impactful decisions and recommendations.
• Team player with strong management skills that is detail oriented and can approach projects both strategically and creatively to provide the client with the best marketing solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience with HTML coding and deploying email deployments, as well as the creation of triggered campaigns & journeys.
• Experience managing an email service provider and previous knowledge of the email marketing landscape, program drivers, and vendors.
• Experience with Google and Microsoft workspace apps (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint) as well as platforms such as Google Analytics. Experience with Adobe products is a plus: Dreamweaver & Photoshop
• Previous client-facing agency experience is a plus.
% Travel Required (Approximate): 10%

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $71,500.00 - $85,800.00
