Digital Billing Specialist

About The Position
Responsible for preparing, entering, and obtaining proper supporting data for the generation of digital invoices from Operative One and the Oracle Financial System.
Review the assigned campaigns to ensure Operative One matches the insertion order in the system.
Evaluate and finalize revenue for each order to ensure we are following GAAP and SOX policies. Complete invoice revisions as needed.
Save and send invoices to the agencies as they are generated.
Assist with other projects as needed.
Accuracy and efficient methods are required while performing the daily duties of this position.
The position has daily contact with both internal/external customers including Account Strategy & Revenue Operations.
This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
About The Team:
The Digital Billing team is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for DDM's digital advertising business. The team works closely with Account Strategy, Ad Ops and Revenue Ops to ensure that invoices are accurate and clients are satisfied with their billing experience while making sure internal controls over invoicing and revenue recognition are properly executed.

The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Education:
Preferably a two-year degree in Accounting and/or basic accounting knowledge.

Experience:
Accounting experience and knowledge/experience with revenue recognition.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of PC spreadsheet applications (Excel)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Self-driven, motivated, and goal oriented, with the ability to work well in a team environment
Understanding of basic accounting & revenue recognition principles
