Account Supervisor- Fashion Team

Job Description

DKC's New York team is seeking smart, energetic, entrepreneurial communications and media relations experts to join the firm's rapidly expanding Fashion Group.

The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience working at a PR agency and/or an in-house comms department with a background in the Fashion and Lifestyle industries. They'll come equipped with strong media contacts, extensive experience in client relations, a proven track record in media relations, excellent writing skills, and strong attention to detail. They will be comfortable working on teams in a shifting, fast-paced environment, and they will be quick studies across a variety of topical issues.

We're seeking Account Supervisors who can work independently and as part of a team to service high-profile brands. Responsibilities include: developing press materials, media relations, and assisting in the development and maintenance of all client reporting documents. Attend calls and meetings with clients and communicate, comfortably, and in an informed/prepared manner

Job requirements include:
• Strong media relations skills in the context of meeting clients' strategic needs
• Ability to create written materials in support of comprehensive media relations programs
• Proven track record of thoroughly understanding clients' business objectives and actively participating in the development of strategic plans and communications programs
• Proficient in the creation of all press materials such as pitch letters, press releases, fact sheets, and bios
• Deep relationships at multiple levels at major national and local based traditional and new media outlets as well as outlets relevant to clients
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly, comfortably, and in an informed/prepared manner converse with senior DKC staff and independently with clients daily
