Job Description
We’re a dynamic PR agency seeking a motivated Temporary Junior Publicist to join our Publicity team in Los Angeles. Seeking a person who has 2-5 years of experience in film or television PR and can thrive in a collaborative and tight-knit environment. The duration of our assignment is until March 2025. This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in executing creative PR campaigns for our film projects and awards campaigns.
- Pitch film projects to press and awards pundits.
- Manage select talent throughout campaigns, coordinating schedules, travel, and accommodations while supporting the team.
- Organize logistics for press days and work with clients to meet various project needs.
- Maintain and update documents for film projects.
- Create and organize essential press materials.
- Attend and support publicity-related events, including press days and screenings/events, which often occur on evenings or weekends.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in film and/or television PR at an agency, studio, or distributor.
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Experience with consumer and awards press.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and a reliable team player.
Compensation:
- Monthly Salary:$6,000 - $7,500 (dependent on experience)
