Job Description
Disney Branded Television Talent Relations department is responsible to curating the the very best home for talent, which we aim to achieve through consistent care, gratitude, and support of our performer's health and wellness. We specialize in managing minors and serve as their advocate throughout their career with The Walt Disney Company. Additionally, our goal is to attract and retain talent, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities for performers to continue flourishing within the company.
Responsibilities:
• Provide concierge care and attention to actors and executive producers
• Manage and oversee all talent aspects in regards to marketing promo, synergy, and ad sales requests that feature DBT talent.
• Support talent at all DBT-produced events (i.e., premieres, concerts, etc.).
• Plan and oversee intimate dinners/receptions/events with DBT talent and leadership
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with talent and their representatives
• Recommend and secure talent for Corporate Citizenship commitments for The Walt Disney Company (i.e., Make A Wish, Magic of Storytelling).
• Research and recommend custom/personalized gifts for various occasions such as birthday, awards, holiday, etc
• Arrange Disneyland and Walt Disney World complimentary ticket and guide requests for talent and creatives
• Curate and manage invites for VIP Premiere events (Talent + Executives for both DBT and The Walt Disney Company)
• Recommend and secure talent for various appearances (i.e., D23, Comic Con, Upfronts, TCA, etc.)
• Arrange travel logistics, transportation, hair, makeup, and wardrobe for various events
• Communicate with senior leaders to keep them informed of Talent Relations activities and challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years experience in Events
• Experience with curated, bespoke gifting on small and large scale
Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years experience in Talent Relations
• 3+ years experience managing and leading a Talent Relations Team
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects/events at any given time.
• Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to effectively work with talent
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekend days.
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to conduct research on actor's preferences, hobbies, etc
• Kind, collaborative, professional, respectful team player willing to support and help others
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $189,000 to $253,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
