Job Summary:

As a Sr Solutions Engineer for the Ad Platform & Data technology team, you are part of a high performing team redefining TV advertising. Solutions Engineers are operational experts who have a knack for improving application life-cycles, evolving software systems to increase their reliability, monitoring application performance, and ensuring overall system health such as: low latency, top performance, and high efficiency. The Sr Solutions Engineer role will focus on supporting and improving core Disney Ad Sales reporting capabilities provided by the data aggregator vendor STAQ. From a support perspective, the role will be responsible for intaking end user requests for advertising data, troubleshoot bugs, and work with 3rd party ad server vendors to maintain data connections. On an ongoing basis, the role will intake requirements from business stakeholders and act as a bridge between engineering and operations teams to proactively improve and evolve reporting capabilities. You will work with a diverse set of stakeholders to troubleshoot technical issues as well as drive strategic decision making. We are seeking a candidate who has proven problem solving skills, a sense of urgency, experience with advertising and financial processes and platforms. The team is fast moving and requires you to make data-driven decisions, while efficiently working with leaders across sales, finance, product, operations, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, maintain and consult 3p ad serving data integrations to maximize automation and operational efficiency.
• Provide support for 3p integration data issues impacting billing.
• Centralize network configuration changes to a small group of super users, who will follow strict change management process to test and validate global updates.
• Create, adjust and audit user access, following defined processes based on SOX compliance requirements.
• Triage escalated data discrepancies for 3p connections with the STAQ account management teams, working alongside the Disney Ad Sales support teams.
• Consult on data automation projects requiring ingestion of 3p delivery data
• Proactively identify opportunities to productize and streamline operational reporting via automation.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis, relevant technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 yrs of experience in ad technology, operations or support, preferably with focus in advertising technology.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and data aggregators (STAQ, SQL).
• Experience debugging data connections for advertising platforms.
• Experience using Excel.
• Experience supporting multiple products in an agile software development environment.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work assignments and to focus on the highest priority issues.
• Proven understanding of systems architecture, design, and implementation.
• Working knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills and passionate about answering questions with data.
• Have a ''do what it takes'' attitude. Be flexible, adaptable and a team-player first.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Needs to demonstrate the ability to build consensus and support from the Ad Platforms organization on the solutions being proposed.

The hiring range for this remote position is $118,000 - $182,000 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
