Sr. Producer, Visual Effects (Temporary) - FX Networks

FX is seeking a Temp Sr. Producer, Visual Effects to manage the overall visual effects production workflow within the Marketing Design department. This position will maintain vendor and freelancer lists, forecast department resources and staffing projects, establish budgets, plan and execute project requirements, manage schedules and project deadlines, and coordinate all visual effects deliverables.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with the SVP, VPs, & Creative Directors in establishing VFX needs on all projects; Assess project scope and requirements then develop and implement a plan of action including all creative, technical, timeline, and budgetary parameters.
• Manage and maintain relationships with VFX staff, freelancers and vendors; hire additional resources and manage booking, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor needs.
• Partner with engineering to maintain department technological infrastructures including workstation and software management, licensing, render farm, etc.
• Research emerging Visual Effects technologies to keep department up-to-date and offer cutting-edge solutions.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years' experience as a producer of motion graphics or television or film marketing
• Minimum 3 years' experience producing VFX
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to establish and maintain relationships with agencies and talent
• Good mathematical skills required
• Must have experience working with delivery specs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be familiar with Adobe Suite, graphic design software (AE, C4D), Video Codecs, and Wiredrive/Box/Aspera
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities, deadlines, and daily time constraints

Required Education:
• 4-year degree in Visual Effects, or related program strongly preferred
