We are seeking an experienced .NET Software Engineer II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, coding, and supporting our innovative Ad Platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Designing and developing robust solutions using .NET Core technologies with ASP.NET Core, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Utilizing Azure cloud services to create efficient and reliable software solutions.
• Implementing containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (preferably AKS) to streamline deployment and maintenance processes.
• Building applications using a microservice architecture approach, enabling flexible and scalable software systems.
Basic Qualifications and Required Skills:
• BS in Computer science (CS), Electrical engineering (EE), Computer Information System or relevant work experience
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in .NET Core with ASP.NET Core and C#, demonstrating a strong understanding of its key concepts and best practices.
• Experience working with Azure cloud services, utilizing its capabilities for building scalable and resilient applications.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, enabling efficient containerization and orchestration of software components.
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture, enabling the development of modular and decoupled systems.
Preferred Skills:
• MS degree in Computer science (CS), Electrical engineering (EE), Computer Information System
• Experience with API Gateway technologies (any), facilitating the management and security of API endpoints.
• Familiarity with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, LinkerD, or Kuma, enhancing the observability and control of microservices.
• Good understanding of general networking concepts and protocols.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and/or Oracle, enabling efficient database management.
• Knowledge of caching technologies like Redis, enhancing application performance and responsiveness.
• Familiarity with NoSQL document databases such as MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or Raven DB, providing flexible and scalable data storage solutions.
• Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka, enabling real-time communication and event-driven architectures.
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica is $112,586 - $151,030 per year, in Seattle is $117,998 -$158,290 per year, and in San Francisco is $123,328 - $165,440 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
