Job Description
SUMMARY

Hulu's Web team is seeking a Software Developer with a passion for developing performant, consumer-facing experiences using modern web technologies. Our team collaborates with both technical and non-technical teams to deliver engaging experiences for our subscribers. As a developer on Hulu's Webby-award winning web team, you'll build and deploy the non-subscriber experience, the ''front porch'' of Hulu and its main funnel for subscriber acquisition. If you're passionate about the Web and interested in changing the landscape of television, we'd love to meet you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Develop software & infrastructure that powers the Hulu.com non-subscriber experience
• Partner with the UX design team to transform mock-ups into engaging, accessible web experiences
• Collaborate with Product Managers to help scope features, identify potential trade-offs, and ensure we're building the right thing for our users

WHAT TO BRING
• 3+ years professional experience developing large, well-tested JavaScript applications
• Strong knowledge of web technologies and the browser environment
• Experience working with and processing data from web APIs
• Experience shipping production React/Node.js applications
• Excellent front-end debugging skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• BS degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

NICE-TO-HAVES
• Experience working with GraphQL
• Experience working with Next.js and server-side rendered applications
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Experience working with a headless CMS
• Experience working with Nginx
• Working knowledge of web accessibility fundamentals
