We are seeking a dynamic Sr Product Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in spreading magic and delight to customers worldwide.

As a Sr Product Manager at Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology (DEEPT), within the Lifecycle Experience Capabilities team, you will have the unique opportunity to own and drive the development of features related to our in-house CMS. In this role, you will support web and device/tv marketing and editorial initiatives, video integration, and usability and production improvements and enhancements, while working closely with marketing, engineering, localization, design, operations, and other product teams to enable them to create unforgettable experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities of the role include:

1. Product Ownership:
• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for aspects of the CMS, aligning th with our stakeholder's mission, goals, and needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Proactively address obstacles so our partners can produce their magic unimpeded.
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and decisions.

2. Customer-Centric Approach:
• Focus on customer enablement, efficiency, and their short and long term ne
• Understand the unique needs and challenges of our partners, translating their requirements into innovative and user-friendly solutions.
• Collect and analyze user feedback and data to continuously improve the CMS, ensuring it meets and exceeds expectations.

3. Feature Development:
• Work closely with the design and development teams to develop and deliver new features and enhancements.
• Ensure that web and device/tv marketing and editorial initiatives meet workflow usability and efficiency expectations and empower pa teams to create content that delights customers.
• Integrate video tools and workflows into the CMS for evolving editorial efforts.
• Refine usability and enhance production workflows to continuo improve user experience.
• Define clear and detailed product specifications, user stories, and accept criteria.
• Conduct user testing to validate feature usability and functionality.

4. Communication and Collaboration:
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across Disney, including marketing, engineering, localization, design, operations, and other product teams.
• Communicate product updates, progress, and timelines effectively to all relevant parties.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, project management, QA, and other product teams to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives.

5. Analytics and Performance Monitoring:
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of features you own.
• Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimizations.
• Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the product development process.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technology or business field
• 5 + years proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the tech industry, with a strong track record of delivering successful products.
• Deep understanding of messaging platforms, content management systems, and/or digital marketing tools.
• Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $138,900 to $186,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
