Job Description
The Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product and Technology team seeks a Senior Data Product Manager with solid storytelling, communication skills, and deep expertise in developing elegant, efficient, and innovative data solutions. This product manager will support the development of product solutions for data products. This role requires strong product strategy, innovation, data analysis, process improvements, passionate attention to detail, and accountability. This role will work with high-performing, cross-functional teams to drive and execute product roadmaps and deliver business impact. This individual will have substantial experience in team collaboration and exceptional partner management skills and will bring an understanding of the interplay between product, engineering, design, and the business to evolve capabilities through partnerships and long-term product planning. The ideal contractor will be a skilled cross-functional collaborator with experience in emerging and consumer-oriented technology services. The role requires a solid foundation in product management, cross-functional team collaboration, and the ability to rapidly synthesize complex information and drive development across multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities:
• Drive the product development of data product platforms
• Build strong partnerships with the data product team and understand their hardships and use cases
• Own the product launch, lifecycle, and maintenance of a brand-new data product platform
• Build and maintain the process and underlying platforms that enable consistency and accuracy
• Execute systematic processes to drive long-term roadmaps, new initiatives, and ongoing development of priority features and capabilities for each product.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-division partners to develop, champion, and launch new initiatives.
• Identify and build comprehensive cross-product strategies and product improvements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Entertainment, Business, Media, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the technology industry, preferably in a data-specific role.
• 5+ years experience in product management or relevant experience
• Experience driving product development, including expertise navigating day-to-day decisions and trade-offs
• Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with leaders and cross-functional partners
• Creative and strategic thinker with proven ability to create and deliver strategic product plans
• Entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive thinker who can thrive in an often ambiguous, fast-paced environment while navigating a complex organizational structure.
• Ability to think strategically and effectively communicate and execute
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong team player who is also an independent thinker; effective at building relationships, collaborating, and influencing others; experience working with stakeholders across various geographies and functions

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in technology, digital, media, or advertising business

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work four times a week on-site from a Company-designated location and the remainder one day remotely.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $138,900 to $186,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
