Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager that will play a key role in growing our direct-to-consumer business, with a focus on Domestic Subscriber Planning. This Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the subscriber forecasting process for all of Disney+ Domestic, including the Duo & Trio Bundles (with Hulu & ESPN+). Candidates will need to highlight & analyze key business trends and performance indicators to more effectively and dynamically forecast subscribers in the short & long term, with a high degree of focus on growth opportunities / risk areas.

In addition to managing and overseeing models, this person must have exceptional communication and presentation skills to translate complex trends into executively digestible highlights. As a leader within the Subscriber Planning team, this Senior Manager will be one of the primary points of contact for operational teams and executive leadership, and will be required to spearhead workstreams on expected performance, and how that might change with initiatives / different product offerings / etc. Succeeding in this position will require extensive collaboration across multiple cross functional teams (Hulu, ESPN+, Data & Analytics, Marketing, Business Operations, Executive Reporting) and effectively utilizing team resources to navigate an ever-changing streaming landscape. The pace and cadence for change at Disney necessitates an ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and roll up sleeves to support this important segment of the Disney business.
• 5+ years of relevant finance/strategy experience in media, direct-to-consumer subscription, management/strategy consulting, investment banking or similar fields
• Experience in building and leading successful teams
• Excellent communication and PowerPoint skills; ability to distill complex analyses into structured outputs and present to all levels of management
• Deliverable-focused, strong work ethic, able to prioritize, and resolve an array of issues simultaneously
• Expert Excel skills; extensive experience building operating models and analyzing large data sets
• Knowledge and understanding of subscription / DTC KPIs a must
• Media & Entertainment industry experience a plus
• Bachelor's degree

The hiring range for this position in NY is $152,000.00-$209,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
