Job Description
Disney Streaming Services is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will be an exceptional addition to the DTC Shared Services Platforms, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. You will report to the Manager, FP&A and will play an integral role in supporting the Data and Customer Service organizations, providing business leaders important financial insights. The Shared Services Platforms organizations support Disney's global streaming businesses (D+, Hulu, ESPN+ and Star+). The right person for this role has experience in the role and possesses robust financial modeling skills, strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally, and sets a high bar for themselves. Responsibilities:
• Assist with developing financial models to manage both operational and capital expenses for Data and Customer Service departments (managing +$300M in expenses across both organizations)
• Prepare quarterly forecasts, annual planning and long-range planning for Data and Customer Service
• Ensure consistency, accuracy and transparency of financial reporting and timely delivery of financials to meet internal and external deadlines
• Proactively find opportunities for process optimization and work with partners to implement solutions surrounding quarter close and other elements of FP&A cycles
• Collaborate with Corporate FP&A and Accounting on the quarter close process to provide relevant variance analyses
• Partner with and support business leaders to align their operating plans and budget requirements to improve forecast accuracy
• Work with cross-functional teams to consistently identify and improve operational efficiencies across both finance and operational departments, particularly as it relates to budgeting and reporting
• Support ad-hoc analyses and corporate reporting as needed

Basic Qualifications:
• 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the media & technology industry
• Strong self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
• Teammate who can work in a cross-functional and dynamic environment
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task to deliver on critical deadlines
• Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities
• Strong presence and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive-level colleagues
• Experience with SAP or other financial & accounting systems
• Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related financial field of study

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
