Job Summary:

Disney Streaming's team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Content Strategy & Finance who will be an exceptional addition to a high-performing group. In this role, you will develop an integrated understanding of the content portfolio and formulate strategic recommendations using key performance and economic measurements. What You'll Do
• Structure sophisticated and dynamic models to synthesize large datasets, extract insights, and ultimately support content decision-making
• Establish comprehensive understanding of Disney+ and Hulu's content portfolios, slates, performance metrics, and economics to identify opportunities for growth and/or optimization
• Support cross-functional projects with the broader Content and Finance organizations, Data & Analytics, and Controllership to drive strategic content initiatives forward, inform investments, and assess overall financial performance & implications
• Prepare executive-ready presentations that surface impactful and actionable recommendations to senior management in thoughtful and succinct manners
• Tackle ad hoc analyses with a quantitative and analytical approach while ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Leverage strategic frameworks or pinpoint methodologies to help answer business questions from key stakeholders
• Stay on top of industry trends and latest events with content partners

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
• Identify gaps or needs across the Content, Finance, and Controllership organizations to provide solutions / recommendations that optimize the Disney+ and Hulu content portfolios, investments, and/or financial implications via deep-dive strategic analyses
• Synthesize complex datasets to extract insights / trends across performance metrics and formulate key takeaways for stakeholders to utilize in decision-making or answer business questions
• Develop various ad hoc analyses / content presentations for executive-level audiences that highlight strategic trade-offs along with insightful economic analyses
• Partner with Disney+ and Hulu Content Finance teams to provide inputs and assumptions that inform the Long Range Plan and Budget/Forecast

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, strategy role or other highly analytical work environment
• Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or another quantitative field
• Exceptional quantitative & analytical abilities and mastery of MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Attentive to details while also keeping perspective on the bigger picture
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels
• Proactive and comfortable with problem-solving / navigating through ambiguity
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic with the ability to deliver analyses under tight deadlines during critical periods
• Highly collaborative with a team-first attitude

The hiring range for this position in California] is $101,790 to $124,410 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
