QA Analyst - Web Commerce

Job Description

The QA Analyst will be responsible for maintaining payment methods for production commerce testing for QA team. Understanding of all payment methods for online purchasing which will include various countries and understanding the rules and regulations of proper use of these payment methods. The QA Analyst will estimate monies needed for maintaining sufficient funds on payment methods. The QA Analyst will also be responsible for refunding and auditing functions to ensure proper transaction balances. The QA Analyst will be responsible for the validation of various Account Management functionalities & the tools used for this validation. The QA Analyst will be analyzing requirements, user stories, and design documentation to ensure that they are clearly defined, complete, and testable. The QA Analyst will be responsible for the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify new and existing (regression) software functionality. The QA Analyst will test the applications via Black Box, Regression, Release, Stress, and Negative testing methods. The ideal candidate will contribute both to the definition and the enforcement of quality assurance processes and procedures based on best practice methodology.

Responsibilities:
• Accountability for participating in test activities, creating detailed test plans and writing test cases.
• Provide status updates for all QA/TPM/Dev resources during the testing cycle.
• Proactively learn the backend infrastructure, new testing and technology trends, upcoming releases.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experienced in maintaining payment methods for production commerce testing for a QA team.
• Understanding of all payment methods for online purchasing which will include various countries and understanding the rules and regulations of proper use of these payment methods.
• Ability to estimate monies needed for maintaining sufficient funds on payment methods.
• Experience with refunding and auditing functions to ensure proper transaction balances.
• Has been responsible for the validation of various Account Management functionalities & the tools used for this validation.

Required Education
• BS or BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
