What You Will Do
Disney's Direct-to-Consumer Viewer Experience organization is seeking a Product Manager to join the Self-Service Support Product team. As our Product Manager, you will participate in developing and implementing the strategy for Disney DTC's intelligent virtual assistants. You will play a central role in strengthening NLU models and scaling the conversational AI experience across global markets. The ideal candidate for this role is energized by reshaping how viewers engage with Virtual Assistants and creating frictionless support experiences through AI innovation and automation.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
• Owns the roadmap and development cycle for the conversational AI experience to enable fluid dialogues and maximize containment rates
• Identify new conversational AI opportunities, including intent creation, transactional automations, and market expansion, to maximize deflection rates
• Create user stories and requirements, and author product artifacts like product briefs to ensure alignment of scope and strategy across stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering, conversation design, data, and product teams to drive execution of new capabilities
• Define, analyze and communicate key success metrics to leverage for roadmap development and prioritization
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 3 years of product management experience in Machine Learning or Conversational AI
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical team members of various levels
• Proven track record of delivering roadmaps and high-quality features for digital products that offer multi-lingual support
• Experience with agile software development and scrum framework
Preferred Qualifications
• Product management experience in customer support
• 2+ years of experience with machine-learned products such as Google Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, IBM Watson, or Amelia
• Experience with one or more programming languages and experience with data analysis (e.g., SQL or other analysis techniques)

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $112,586.00 to $151,030.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
