Photo Manager (Photo Producer) (Disney Entertainment Television)
Do you possess a love for photography? Are you a detail oriented, teammate with flair, who approaches all tasks, big and small with a goal to ensure success across all projects? At Disney Entertainment Television, we are looking for a skilled Photo Manager (Photo Producer) who will plan and coordinate gallery photography shoots for television series, specials, pilots and events such as press tours, awards shows, public activations, etc. This person will work hand-in-hand with creative groups to deliver the highest quality photography in the most cost-effective, efficient and timely manner, planning all logistics from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and produce gallery photography shoots for advertising, marketing, publicity and corporate campaigns.
• Partner with marketing teams and show publicists to ensure consistent messaging across formats and media outlets.
• Collaborate with all other internal groups to lead project work under tight timelines.
• Develop working relationships with talent and talent reps (agents, managers and publicists).
• Establish working relationships with show production personnel and external studio contacts.
• Coordinate and handle logistics with studios location scouts, etc.
• Represent Disney in negotiations with vendors (e.g., set designers, caterers, hair, makeup, wardrobe, etc.).
• Handle editing and retouching of images.
• Manage unit coverage, including reading scripts to determine shoot days.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years' experience producing photo shoots.
• Experience crafting and managing strict budgets.
• Demonstrate skills at organizing events from beginning to end.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Aptness to multi-task under pressure, adhere to timelines and work weekends.
• Willingness to travel domestically and some international.
Required Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Art, Project Management, Creative Producing, Communications or related field of study, or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $84,500.00 to $113,300.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
