Original Production, Sr. Manager

Job Description

The Originals Production, Sr Manager will drive and deliver physical production needs for Original Productions for Streaming Services. It will be responsible to partner with producers, talent for series, film, specials and documentary features as well as other cross-functional groups to support the successful launches of our most wonderful stories.

Responsibilities:
• In charge of the Executive Production of Original Productions and regionalized versions of other productions for National Geographic. This includes from the conception of the idea, development, pre-production, recording and post production of each project.
• Coordinate the budget and possible Sales needs, supervision of Marketing, promotion and public relations activities and delivery of final materials and documentation of each production.
• Work hand in hand and coordinates with outside production companies and producers, directors, writers and talent.
• Manage internally all the needs for the launch, promotion and possible commercialization of your productions and projects.
• Together with the Operations team, it will supervise and verify the correct delivery of all production materials ready for air, their quality control and necessary adjustments for each different transmission platform.
• Highly involved in logistical, creative, legal and communication decision-making for his productions. From conception and development to launch and follow-up and even renovation.

Basic Qualifications:
• At least 8 years of experience as a production executive, line producer and/or production manager, preferably in both film and television.
• Working knowledge of post-production process useful, hands-on post experience.
• Advanced knowledge of general culture and audiovisual industry.
• Advanced level of English is a must.
