From movie concept to film production, global film shoots to remote editorial artists. You will support the network that supports a studio whose content is legendary and transcends generations. We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in network deployments and the implementation of innovative solutions, including the installation and configuration of critical network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Your meticulous documentation will be essential for maintaining network integrity, encompassing the creation and upkeep of network diagrams, configuration files, and records of changes.
In addition to these core functions, you will excel in troubleshooting network issues, swiftly identifying and resolving problems related to connectivity, outages, and performance bottlenecks. You will also take on secondary responsibilities, including the regular maintenance and updates of network devices to optimize performance and security. Collaborating closely with network equipment vendors and service providers, you will ensure the seamless operation of our network. Furthermore, you will apply software updates, patches, and fixes to address security vulnerabilities and enhance network performance. Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years network engineering experience
• Working knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, or IS-IS
• Working knowledge of overlay technologies such as IPSec, VxLAN, MPLS, and Cloud deployments.
• Hands on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers/switches, firewalls, load balancers, and Wi-Fi solutions
• Strong understanding of traffic flow across complex network deployments; able to identify issues from a physical link through to application level
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure
• The ability to take troubleshooting and diagnostics to a root cause in a methodical manner
• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Juniper EX/QFX/MX/PTX, Palo Alto, Pulse Secure, F5, and Mist Wi-Fi
• Extensive routing protocol knowledge of BGP and IS-IS
• JNCIP, CCNP, or other Professional-level network certifications
• Experience building or maintaining logging and monitoring systems
• Scripting or automation skills in languages such as Python, Ansible, Ruby, Prolog, or Piet
The hiring range for this position in California is $102,500 - $137,500 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
