Multiplatform Programming Strategy and Content Planning Associate (DBT)

The Disney Channels Multiplatform Programming Strategy and Content Planning Associate will own the daily planning and scheduling of our Disney Channels suite of networks across various platforms. This role will not only own several technical and creative tasks that power our linear and on-demand spaces, but will also consume, finesse, and opine on a bevy of other intersectional distribution and content responsibilities spanning Broadcast Operations, Production, and beyond. Responsibilities
• Own several scheduling, formatting, communication, and dissemination workflows required to produce, socialize, and maintain cable and on-demand schedules.
• Manage program databases to ensure accurate metadata, availability, thematic coding, and more.
• Assess quantitative and qualitative analytics to form perspectives, questions, and suggestions that intersect your work and your team's.
• Track and elevate kid's television trends to inform scheduling, business strategy, and other relevant deliverables.
• Build decks for, present in, and occasionally run monthly/bi-monthly meetings to inform partners of upcoming programming initiatives, navigating questions and negotiating roadblocks as they arise.
• Tackle ad-hoc asks that support dynamic platform needs relating to programming or partner workflows.

Requirements
• 1+ years of previous work experience, programming/scheduling disciplines preferred, which can be inclusive of internships.
• 1+ years of experience working within entertainment. (which can be inclusive of internships)
• A demonstrated interest in kid's and family content (you'll be expected to watch a lot of it) and its distribution. Experience with working with content for ages 2-11 preferred
• Pre-existing knowledge of and/or a willingness to quickly learn tools that are central to our workflows (SIMS, BeBanjo, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.). SIMS experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple projects that require a high level of details.
• Must live within a commutable distance to Burbank, CA. (position is onsite 4 days a week)
• A can-do, team-player attitude that can meet the rapidly changing TV landscape.
• The ability to collaborate with others to problem solve and brainstorm creative ideas and solutions.

• Internal Disney Entertainment experience

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $57,900 to $77,500 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
