Department Overview:
The Disney Entertainment Multiplatform Partnerships team based in NYC is looking for a strategic, flexible and enthusiastic Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Director, this person will assist with the execution of partnership campaigns that drive growth and reinforce the value of Disney's television Networks, ABC, Disney Channels, Freeform, FX, and the National Geographic Channels.
Job Summary
Working closely with the Director, Multiplatform Partnerships, this position will co-lead the execution of brand and creative strategies for the Disney Entertainment network portfolio: ABC, Disney Channels, Freeform, FX, and the National Geographic Channels. In partnership with our Account team leads, this role serves as the liaison between our external distributors and internal partners across the Walt Disney Company, informing promotional opportunities that leverage our content to support the pay TV ecosystem, drive retention, and increase linear viewership. A specific emphasis will be placed on strategizing execution across platforms, including linear TV, streaming, connected devices, and more. This position will be a key collaborator with other LOBs, ensuring internal synergies and alignment with cross-company priorities
To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for building and nurturing cross-functional relationships, building consensus, and possess a data-driven mindset and be able to work onsite 4+ days a week.
Responsibilities:
• Co-lead the execution of brand and creative strategies to increase market position, incremental revenue, and consumer engagement across The Walt Disney Company linear offerings
• Collaborate with internal LOBs to impact subscriber growth and retention through multiple media types – on air, email, display, paid search & more.
• Evaluate campaign performance and work with distribution partners to capitalize on growth opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing, partnerships, or creative ideation, within an entertainment, a programmer, or distributor. (highly preferred)
• Experience with brand strategy, data analysis, with the ability to synthesize and apply data to make on-point business decisions.
• Expertise with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other Office software
• Must live near the office on 7th Hudson, New York, NY as this role requires onsite presence 4+ days a week.
• Experience providing excellent relationship management and cross-function team support.
• Extremely self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic
• Precise and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to travel as needed.
Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing.
The hiring range for this position in 7th Hudson, NYC is $82,000.00 to $109,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
