Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will manage all Disney+ content opportunities from Disney Branded Television, National Geographic, and other TWDC brands and studios across the content lifecycle.
Oversee databases and documentation related to all long-range slate planning activities, partnering closely with internal content studio partners, DMED Programming, Data Analytics, Consumer Insights, CP&A, and Finance teams to secure a holistic view of the content pipeline.

You will also act as day-to-day contact for creative partners across assigned brands and studios to represent slate intent, provide insights, and represent programming needs for Disney+ while balancing creative and operational requirements. Generate clear and thoughtful presentations to share context, insights, and analysis about the performance of original productions, series, movies, and specials. Partner with international DMED teams, programming, and operations teams to monitor and inform programming intent. Communicate key title updates to downstream Disney+ teams (i.e. greenlight status, format, logline, etc.). Implement processes, procedures, and methods that improve slate planning outcomes.

You will also directly supervise the Slate Management Lead.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• You will manage content opportunities for Disney+ throughout lifecycles and across TWDC.

• You will managerial/Supervisorial Responsibilities
• Additional duties and projects as assigned.

WHAT TO BRING
• You will have 6+ years of experience in content planning, development, or programming strategy.
• You will have a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple demands at once.
• You will have a strong ability to create and deliver presentations that effectively communicate solutions and open items for partners and leadership.
• You will have a meticulous attention to detail.
• Needs to be an effective, collaborative, communicator, with an ability to lead through influence rather than by hierarchy.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.

NICE-TO-HAVES
• 1-2 years of direct management experience strongly preferred.
