Manager, Media Planning (Hulu)

As the Marketing Media Manager on the Media Team, you will lead end-to-end media strategy and campaign execution across Hulu brand, bundle, licensed and international marketing efforts. You will provide holistic integrated strategy and media campaign recommendations to achieve business objectives across both online and offline media channels. The Manager will also work with management and key stakeholders to identify opportunities to increase performance and pivot in real time. The Media Manager must also have strong communication skills and maintain relationships with both internal teams and external vendors to achieve goals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Manage all aspects of media campaigns including monitoring and assessing performance, assisting in strategic analysis of campaign performance, testing targets, creative, copy, media types, etc. across all channels (Broadcast, Radio, OOH, Print, Digital, Programmatic, Paid Social, Devices, etc.)
• Work with the cross-functional agency team to develop strong total communications approach
• Collaborate with marketing managers across brand, live, licensed and international priorities to help develop campaigns, manage campaign deliverables and ensure media campaigns ladder up to overall campaign objectives
• Support Subscriber Acquisition media team on evergreen performance campaigns and provide insights to connect and complement upper funnel efforts
• Provide recommendations to improve strategies, tactics, visibility, and drive results
• Conduct weekly program optimizations and performance analysis against campaign goals; manage media plan budgets
• Leverage MMM and other data inputs (including audience insights, viewership trends, competitive intel, etc.) to help build go-to-market approaches.
• Work with management and stakeholders to identify problems and opportunities
WHAT TO BRING
• 6+ years integrated media planning experience with a proven track record of having executed successful campaigns across all funnels and channels.
• A deep understanding of Integrated Media Planning with a deep generalist knowledge set of all media channels
• Flexibility; the desire to pivot in real-time with the ability to have a creative approach to problem solving – finding the yes rather than saying no.
• Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, highly charged environment.
• Demonstrated ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and successfully manage multiple assignments.
• Self-motivated and resourceful.
• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external vendors.
• Passionate team mentality.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint as well as Google Docs
• Past client experience preferred, ideally with an entertainment brand
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $85,800.00 to $115,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
