Manager, Media (PH)

The Media Manager for the Walt Disney Studios Marketing Team will oversee all execution of assigned media plans with a strong core in digital plan development. They are a team player and will work closely with the Director and/or Senior Manager across assigned titles. This position will partner closely with the broader Media team, Research, Publicity, Digital Marketing, In-Home Product & Marketing teams, and our partners across other Disney business segments. This project hire is for 6 months.

Job Responsibilities:
• Support the Director and/or Senior Manager in developing effective/efficient Media plans
• Oversee all aspects of Media plan execution for assigned titles
• Identify consumer behavior and trends that address the rapidly changing marketplace
• Follow up and ensure the agency delivers all tactical elements of the Media plan
• Must possess a talent for multi-tasking while managing several aspects of a campaign
• Present forward-thinking, data-driven media recommendations that drive the business forward
• Effectively guide our advertising agency to deliver plans on extremely tight deadlines
• Work seamlessly with internal teams to ensure plans are completed and creative is delivered on time
• Monitor plan daily and have the ability to pivot quickly to last-minute changes
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail is critical throughout the entire campaign
• Works with agencies and internal teams to ensure desired creative materials fit intended media placements
• Meet with vendors to stay on top of new ad products and share learnings with team members
• Liaison between the media department and other internal departments within the marketing organization, including promotions, publicity, digital marketing, integrated synergy, research, and retail teams
• Identify both internal and external media partners for synergistic promotional opportunities
• Review media schedules, post analysis, and digital analytics to ensure plans are delivering on desired goals
• Maintain strong relationships with media sales community

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years relevant experience, strong digital background preferred
• Outstanding communication skills, written and oral
• Candidate should demonstrate strong media planning and buying knowledge and be familiar with emerging media and new technology platforms
• Demonstrated ability to work with others as a collaborative team player
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

The hiring range for this position in California is $78,092.05 to $101,060.30 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
