Disney Entertainment includes the company's full portfolio of entertainment media and content businesses globally. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Disney Entertainment Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead this talented team of Finance professionals across the entire Disney Entertainment segment, inclusive of Walt Disney Studios (Inclusive of Global Theatrical, Disney Music Group, etc.) and Disney TV businesses. Brands and platforms supported from a financial perspective in this portfolio include Disney+, Star+, Hulu, ABC, ABC News, Nat Geo, Marvel, Star Wars and others. The CFO plays a pivotal, strategic role in shaping our company's entertainment roadmap leading the P&L forecasting, Annual Operating Plans, and Five-year plans, and ensuring financial reporting excellence while simultaneously supporting our culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.

Responsibilities Include:
• Providing strategic direction and leadership for our Finance Disney Entertainment globally, driving a unified Disney Entertainment financial narrative across the organization – plays an integral role as part of our co-chair's team.
• Provides strategic input to Co-chairs decisions that impact the overall business performance of The Walt Disney Company.
• Monitors and forecasts the financial health of Disney Entertainment, including all shared functions and international regions in close partnership with our Regional presidents and CFOs.
• Directly manages finance teams dedicated to DE-Studios, DE-TV, all the support functions and Regional teams to prioritize, consolidate, and solve business challenges.
• Partners with Finance leader on shared functions that impact both Disney Entertainment (DE & ESPN Technology, Ad Sales, Distribution, Regions).
• Contribute to the development and execution of innovative strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue goals.
• Work with key stakeholders (i.e. TWDC Controllership), operating groups, and finance team members to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the financial planning process, assumptions, and results.
• Collaborate with all segment leaders across Disney's Studio, General Entertainment, and Sports content creation team to identify and execute the strategic priorities.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Finance team.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that encourages continuous learning, professional growth, and knowledge sharing.
• Build rapport and maintain trusted relationships with leaders across businesses in pursuit of strategic growth plans; partner with leaders to determine their most pressing business needs and how the finance team can work most effectively with them; Work with them to identify and support growth opportunities in existing and new markets.
• Creates clarity for the team and drives progress with urgency.

Key Qualifications
• Demonstrates deep understanding and expertise in media businesses (Studio, TV, DTC) and our industry.
• Proven history of at least 15 years in a senior Finance leadership role within the media, entertainment, or streaming industry
• Adeptly leads in a highly matrixed and rapid-pace environment as the Company undergoes critical transformation.
• Has considerable experience and success leading multinational teams in a matrixed environment
• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or related field; advanced degree a plus
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Adaptability to manage and guide the organization through transformation/restructuring.
• Exceptional communication and people skills with the ability to engage both externally and internally up to the board of directors, shareholders, and customers.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing large budgets efficiently.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $600,000.00 to $700,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
