Position Overview:

The Disney+ Creative Marketing team is responsible for creating A/V, digital, OOH and static creative awareness marketing materials for the Disney+ Brand, the Disney Bundle, and some title-specific A/V and reversions for International Campaigns. We're looking for a creative, collaborative, motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented team leader to join the team as a Creative Director of Design.

The Creative Director, Design is responsible for leading the design direction for Disney+ brand and Disney Bundle awareness materials, creating and revisioning a range of A/V and static marketing materials for Disney+ and the Disney Bundle, from kick-off to delivery. This includes working with outside creative agency partners to create dynamic static and out-of-home creative concepts, AV OOH executions, static and product/platform art, promo designs, and a variety of collateral materials for partners. They will also lead and direct all static out of home (OOH) creative campaigns for use in paid media, synergy media, collateral, partnerships and some social assets. They will also manage a team (2 internal) of designers and execute their creative vision on static assets produced by that team.

Reporting to the VP Creative for D+ Brand and Bundle, the ideal candidate is both an experienced creative and master of organization, as this role will work on multiple projects – and partner with various agencies – concurrently. We're looking for someone with a keen eye for design and detail, the ability to collaborate and accommodate multiple stakeholders, manage and team up with international partners, and the ability to ensure that all brand standards are upheld, while meeting tight deadlines and closely collaborating with members of the Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu and Int'l teams.

Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee all static (digital, OOH, collateral, synergy) creative assets and artwork and design for both Disney+ Brand and the Disney Bundle awareness marketing.
• Oversee creative and production for all multi-title OOH, including adapts, print production and color review.
• Lead and manage two direct reports, one designer and one manager and serves as team design lead.
• Will take lead for Design Direction on high priority projects, spearheaded design rollouts, and executive presentations.
• Oversees design projects with multiple internal TWDC teams, such as synergy (OOH and AV OOH), Partnerships (led design direction for Disney+ Perks initiative) and Events (oversees design signage for Disney+ events and experiences)
• Quality control: Evaluating legal, logos, mix and branding to ensure accuracy.
• Managing and supervising multiple projects concurrently with multiple outside creative agencies.
• Ensuring all materials are up to the high creative standards of TWDC and on-brand for Disney+ and Star
• Ensuring timely delivery of all assigned creative assets.
• Partnering with stakeholders from Disney+ and Star to secure feedback and approvals.

Basic Qualifications:
• 7+ years working as a Designer (or related) on A/V and static projects within a studio or network.
• Experience with the A/V and static materials creative processes.
• Familiarity with the finishing process for A/V assets at a studio or network.
• A demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and remain organized when working on multiple projects at one time.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across Disney Entertainment and Streaming.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure strong working relationships with the immediate and broader Disney+ teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding and fluency with design platforms such as After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience managing design teams
• Strong presentation skills, comfortable presenting to senior leadership

Required Education:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience in in Advertising, Communications, Cinema/Television or related field.

The hiring range for this position in California is $148,666 - $199,430 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
