Job Description
We are looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join our team with a real focus on our B2B and trade comms. This role is built around two parts of our business. Firstly, you will support the senior manager on our advertising business and second our content sales business.

The opportunity for you:
• You will devise and deliver B2B comms strategies both for the UK and EMEA through our Disney+ and advertising team
• You will own proactive B2B media relations for a range of business areas including advertising, content sales and affiliate partners
• You will oversee our content sales communications strategy including working in step with marketing to support at key sales calendar moments
• You will also be accountable for our affiliate partnership activities as defined by the business
• This role also includes supporting high profile executives writing scripts and remarks at these events
• In our team collaboration is key, you will be working with key business partners across the business to maximise opportunities and devise fully cohesive and innovative corporate campaigns.
• This role may occasionally involve internal comms including briefing notes for executive and contributing to townhall content
• You will speak to a wide range of UK media, but namely corporate B2B/ trade media
• Potential travel required as business dependencies dictate

The experience you will have:
• Demonstrable experience and understanding of the advertising and sales industry through the lens of comms
• You have a clear ability to manage multiple announcements and drive forwards on
• You have an established media network or are comfortable building one with support.
• A strategic comms mindset – you look at the bigger picture for campaign and think about how to get the best comms outcomes. You challenge the norm, and think of new ways to secure coverage.
• Demonstrable creative and strategic thinking, with a keen interest in and understanding of the media and broadcast industry
• You think about evaluation at the start of your campaign, set clear KPIs that measure your work and take learnings onboard.
• You are can demonstrate consistent experience managing of multiple projects simultaneously and remain highly focused and flexible whilst working under pressure
• You have worked with a range of stakeholders – this role works in a large, matrix' d organization
• You must be a self-starter, team player with a genuine enthusiasm for communications and public relations
• You have experience handling senior stakeholders with a corporate team, and owning a crisis – big or small and have been involved in reactive planning or crisis handling
• A background in in-house comms for a streaming service or media company would be preferred but not essential
