Job Description
The position of Content Marketing Supervisor sits within the Studios & Content Marketing team. The team consists of two other colleagues, one of which is the team manager. The team is responsible for the marketing campaigns for all theatrical releases and several Disney+ IP releases, coming from The Walt Disney Studios. The Walt Disney Studios consists of seven different Studio brands:
• Walt Disney Animation Studios,
• Walt Disney Studios,
• Pixar Animation Studios,
• Marvel Studios,
• Lucas Film,
• 20th Century Studios,
• Searchlight Pictures,

Next to the branded studio content, the team is also responsible for the solus marketing campaigns for our general entertainment content on Disney+.

Examples are campaigns for theatrical films like Elemental, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Little Mermaid or The Boogeyman, but also Disney+ films and/or series like Secret Invasion and Peter Pan & Wendy.

The Studios & Content Marketing team is part of a wider Marketing department within The Walt Disney Company Benelux.

The team works closely with other internal departments, like: Studio Distribution (for theatrical), Communications & PR, Creative Services, Digital & Social, Consumer Products, Media Networks, Disney+, Parks & Resorts, Brand Partnerships & Promotions and Finance.

THE POSTION

Due to an internal move, we are looking for a new Content Marketing Supervisor within our team.

As part of our team, you will have your own set of responsibilities over several campaigns per year (mix of theatrical film releases and Disney+ IP releases) reporting to the Marketing Manager Studios & Content.

As campaign owner you will be the go-to-person and campaign lead for both internal and external contacts. For each content release that you manage, you will be responsible for creating a local marketing campaign strategy (including target audience and positioning), create media briefings and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, coordinate media planning with agency and create best media plan for you campaign, coordinate and plan creative material briefings.

In addition, you will also support the team in developing and coordinating dedicated digital & social content of all our theatrical releases that are specifically created for Trade. This means social and digital content that cinemas can use on their digital and social channels as organic content in support of our releases.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Some of the responsibilities include:
• Adapt global marketing strategy into a local strategy.
• Give presentations on your upcoming campaigns and strategies.
• Campaign planning, management, and alignment with all the necessary departments, partners, and teams.
• Stakeholder management, both internal and external.
• Media briefing, planning and coordination with our media agency.
• Budget management
• Oversight and coordination of localization and production of campaign materials with our Creative department
• Event management and coordination like premieres or special screenings
• Distribute digital and social content to social teams of major cinema chains
• Administrative tasks

PROFILE:

The Content Marketing Supervisor role is a medior-level position. We are looking for a creative, hands-on marketing professional who ideally has working experience in (content) marketing and/or entertainment marketing.

You must be agile, as the nature of the position requires you to manage different tasks at once, you must be able to switch between many different tasks smoothly and quickly and remain sharp in the details.

The ideal candidate also has an extravert personality, and a huge affinity for cinemas and streaming. You love going to the cinema and experience films on the big screen but you also know what the latest shows are that you can stream and binge at home.

Basic knowledge and experience with the Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is essential. Dutch and English language, both speaking and in writing, is also an essential part of the role.
