Consultant, Current Programming - Disney Junior (Temp Assignment)

Responsibilities:
• Manage projects from premise to final episode delivery.
• Strong creative and communication skills with regard to evaluating and giving notes on scripts, storyboards, rough cuts, casting, music and mixes. Proven knowledge of story and script structure.
• Collaborate with Casting, Music, Production, Legal and Finance, Brand Franchise, and other departments within TWDC, throughout the production process.
• The candidate must have real executive presence and a deep knowledge and understanding of the preschool media landscape.
• Represent Disney Junior's creative point of view, uphold network standards and production guidelines on all projects.
• Additional duties maybe assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
• 7 years experience in current series production
• 3+ years' experience in animation and kids programming, specifically pre-school-aged highly recommend.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate about animation and kids programming is a must
• In-depth knowledge of the animation, visual effects, comics, related disciplines and industries
• Ability to work 20 hours a week.
• Paid work experience with animation series pipelines and schedule
• Deep understanding of emotional and character-driven storytelling for children.
• Positive attitude and ability to be flexible and multitask in a fast-paced and non-static environment
• Proven ability to solve problems and interact with a wide variety of personalities

Required Education:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Education:
• Bachelors degree with emphasis in media, film or theatre, or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this remote position is $1,260.90 to $1,733.80 per week based on a 20-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
