Job Description
Disney Entertainment's Direct to Consumer (DTC) team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company's best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.

The DTC Strategy team supports DTC and Disney leadership in driving profitable growth and innovation by collaborating with stakeholders across the business to provide market intelligence, identify opportunities, and deliver actionable strategies and business plans. The team's activities and accomplishments have contributed to the growth and success of the streaming business. Examples of work the group has led recently include:
• Developing novel growth strategies for Disney+ and Hulu (e.g., pricing, product feature prioritization, content investment, windowing, bundling, distribution, etc.)
• Assessing partnership and joint venture opportunities
• Creating strategy materials for the Board of Directors and the investor community (e.g., earnings call preparations, Investor Day)

Responsibilities:
• Structure and build complex financial models to inform decision making across a variety of projects, including new business development opportunities and growth strategies.
• Analyze subscriber engagement data to inform content distribution strategies.
• Complete market research by analyzing and synthesizing data from a variety of sources.
• Create presentations to summarize key insights and recommendations for streaming leadership and broader Disney leadership team.
• Create financial models and analyses to support decision making and strategic initiatives
• Complete market research and track industry trends
• Develop executive-level presentations to summarize strategic initiatives for leadership team

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from a top tier university
• 1-2 years of experience at a top tier investment bank, consulting firm, or comparable corporate strategy/development group
• Advanced technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modeling
• Analytical mindset and ability to structure ambiguous problems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Passion for streaming entertainment and technology

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in entertainment

The hiring range for this position in California is $84,500.00 to $113,300.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
