Disney's Addressable Ad Operations team is seeking an Ad Operations Solutions Specialist who will be an exceptional addition to our Advertising Operations team on one or more of our exciting brands. These brands are composed of The Walt Disney Company's (NYSE: DIS) global entertainment and news television properties, owned television stations, as well as radio and publishing businesses. This includes the ABC Television Network, ABC Owned Television Stations Group, ABC Studios, ESPN, Hulu, Disney Channels Worldwide, Freeform, FX and National Geographic as well as Disney/ABC Domestic Television and Disney Media Distribution.

Job Summary:

Disney's Ad Operations team is seeking an Ad Operations Solutions Specialist who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As an Ad Operations Solutions Specialist, you will report into the Manager of Ad Operations Solutions and work closely with Account Managers, and other sales support teams. The Ad Operations Solutions Specialist is responsible for ensuring accuracy of ad campaign implementation details prior to launch and acting as an expert in troubleshooting data & technical platform issues. The Ad Ops Solutions Specialist also works with other cross functional teams to triage escalations and test new products in support of the Ad Ops team. The right person for this role is extremely detail orientated and has a strong eye for technical details, gets excited by technological innovation, is willing to take on new challenges, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced collaborative environment. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
• Oversee review of order management system, targeting instructions, campaign assets and implementation within the ad server as part of monitoring the accuracy of campaign launches within the Ad Operations' trafficking and execution processes for revenue retention and SOX compliance controls.
• Use a data-driven approach to pinpoint process-related inefficiencies and measure accuracy, as well as attending account management pod meetings to share insights, best practices and re-trainings on campaign setup, implementation, and performance
• Serve as the day to day (and sometimes on call) first point of escalation, triage and resolution for the Ad Ops and VX teams in the areas of technical support for the following categories across Sports, News and Entertainment verticals: viewer ad experience, ad server platform bugs, internal/external reporting, and ad delivery
• Use internal data and testing platforms to proactively identify and monitor behavior around new tech and data releases, ongoing or potential issues that may arise, and overall ad server performance and health.
• Work directly with Ad Platform teams to ensure thorough and timely communication of status updates on widespread bugs and revenue impacting anomalies that may occur in production environment

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a related industry, with at least 1 year of experience in digital media operations
• Experience within the digital online ecosystem, including familiarity with third party ad servers such as DCM, Innovid, etc.
• Basic experience with debugging and proxy tools such as Charles & Fiddler
• Comprehension and experience in implementation of digital video and other formats, including VAST and VPAID
• Experience with a video ad server (Freewheel, DoubleClick for Video, etc.)
• Experience in a queue management/ticketing system such as JIRA and Operative
• Ability to dissect technical details to take a deeper dive for resolution and investigation
• Comfort with reporting and using data sets for deeper analysis
• Quick learner and detail oriented: critical thinking and analytical skills
• Experience communicating effectively with internal teams
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point

Preferred:
• Experience on an OTT platform a plus
• Programmatic experience a plus (DSP, SSP)
• Experience in a role requiring troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

The hiring range for this position is $86,700 - $108,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
