The MarTech Engineering Team at Disney Streaming Services is responsible for creating software solutions for Disney+ and ESPN+ marketing teams. We use tagging, targeting, testing, and feedback to optimize the marketing spend and efficacy of creative content for both paid and lifecycle engagement messaging.
The Senior Software Engineer, Customer Data Portal Frontend will participate in the creation of internally-facing web applications for marketing professionals. This includes tools for managing the workflow of marketing campaigns, data & asset flow between internal & external sources, and supporting a variety of marketing use-cases.
• Senior developer on frontend web applications
• Coach other developers on best practices & quality thru code review & instruction
• Collaborate with Marketing Technology Product Managers to create scalable and user-friendly solutions for the Customer Data Portal.
CSS Preprocessors, Styled Components, Single Page Application frameworks and Module Bundlers (Webpack etc.)
Hands on experience with React/Redux in a production application
Experience with Single Page Applications
You have the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Excellent understanding of software development fundamentals
Experience with writing unit, integration and functional tests
Proven ability to integrate with service APIs and/or SDKs.
Experience working in a modern, agile software team with version control & project management tools (eg Github, SVN, Jira, Basecamp)
Marketing technology stacks including dashboards, reporting, and marketing workflows.
Experience with AWS hosting environment
Building resilient applications that handle failure gracefully
Experience with analytics tools and marketing attribution models
Full-stack experience in a Scala application development environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field), or equivalent work experience
