Job Description

Disney Streaming Services is seeking an SEO Manager for its Disney+ and ESPN+ services. The ideal candidate will have a track record of developing successful digital marketing strategies, launching and optimizing marketing programs, managing multiple large projects, partnering with marketing and cross-functional teams in a large, global organization, presenting to stakeholders and executives, and establishing and measuring against KPIs.

As SEO Manager you will lead the strategy and execution of organic traffic growth to Marketing Landing Pages and be a lead contributor to DSS and DCTI's broader SEO efforts. The principal focus of this role will be to capture demand in the organic search channel for Disney+, ESPN+ and the Disney Bundle by analyzing prospect and subscriber behavior, creating and optimizing content, and running experiments to maximize conversion of organic traffic. You will collaborate closely with the Disney+ and ESPN+ Paid Media, Product Marketing, and Product teams; (Direct-to-Consumer & International) DCTI Brand and Digital Marketing teams; and Hulu Marketing team to expand reach and improve efficiency of paid and organic marketing programs. You will also bring and maintain an expert level understanding of the latest industry trends, guidelines, and algorithm changes.

Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies for growing organic traffic to increase signups to Disney+, ESPN+ and the Disney Bundle
• Define KPIs and clear, measurable, and actionable goals for the Disney+ and ESPN+ SEO programs
• Execute on the SEO strategy for Disney+, ESPN+ and Disney Bundle in close coordination with the Disney+ and ESPN+ Paid Media, Product Marketing, and Product teams; DCTI Brand and Digital Marketing teams; and Hulu Marketing team
• Coordinate with Marketing Landing Page production leads to create and optimize pages for SEO campaigns
• Manage and measure success of Disney+, ESPN+, and Disney Bundle SEO campaigns
• Partner with the DTCI Digital Marketing and DSS Product teams to document and execute on on-site optimizations
• Develop and execute link building strategies for landing pages with Disney owned and operated properties and external partners, media and influencers.
• Work with regional and local marketing teams to grow organic traffic in markets outside the U.S.
• Work with Marketing Analytics to develop and enhance dashboards and reporting for organic traffic
• Work with the DSS Marketing Experimentation team to identify, prioritize, execute and report on testing opportunities
• Deliver regular reports on SEO performance to stakeholders and executives
• Track changes to search engine algorithms and communicate as needed to internal teams

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years in an SEO marketing role
• Demonstrated track record of growing organic traffic in a large global organization
• Extensive experience with keyword research, information architecture, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors
• Knowledge of structured data schemas, rich snippets, internal linking strategies, keyword usage, and semantic analysis.
• Experience with CMS platforms for landing page management
• Proficient in agile methodologies and working knowledge of Jira/Confluence
• Attention to detail, with an ability to identify issues and quickly implement solutions
• Passion for velocity, enabling the team to scale through superior project management
• Experience analyzing data, monitoring and continually improving campaigns, and ensuring campaign goals are being met
• Superior communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Experience supporting globally distributed stakeholders
• Self-motivated, with a drive to exceed expectations

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with A/B testing for SEO
• Experience with experimentation platforms, such as Optimizely
• Experience with marketing SVOD services and content

Required Education
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
