Associate iOS Software Engineer

The MarTech Engineering Team at Disney Streaming Services is responsible for creating software solutions for Disney+ and ESPN+ marketing teams. We use tagging, targeting, testing, and feedback to optimize the marketing spend and efficacy of creative content for both paid and lifecycle engagement messaging.
The Lead Software Engineer, Customer Data Portal will lead the creation of internally-facing web applications for marketing professionals. This includes tools for managing the workflow of marketing campaigns, data & asset flow between internal & external sources, and supporting a variety of marketing use-cases.
• Lead developer on full-stack web applications
• Coach other developers on best practices & quality thru code review & instruction
• Collaborate with data engineers on best practices and technical concepts of building large scale data platforms to allow marketing professionals to deploy best-in-class marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with Marketing Technology Product Managers to create scalable and user-friendly solutions for the Customer Data Portal.
Experience in a NodeJS and/or Scala application development environment
CSS Preprocessors, Styled Components, Single Page Application frameworks and Module Bundlers (Webpack etc.)
Hands on experience with React/Redux in a production application
Excellent understanding of software development fundamentals
Experience with writing unit, integration and functional tests
Proven ability to integrate with service APIs and/or SDKs.
Experience working in a modern, agile software team with version control & project management tools (eg Github, SVN, Jira, Basecamp)
Marketing technology stacks including dashboards, reporting, and marketing workflows.
Experience with AWS environment, including Dynamo, ECS (Docker), S3
Building resilient applications that handle failure gracefully
Experience with analytics tools and marketing attribution models
Experience with Big Data tools, eg Apache Spark, Snowflake, Jupiter notebooks
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field), or equivalent work experience
