Job Description

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:
• Assist in the preparation and review of the company's SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, Registration statements, 8-K, Proxy statement, etc.)

• Prepare filings and disclosures in compliance with applicable SEC regulations, professional standards and organization policies

• Research and draft new disclosures

• Work directly with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley

• Work directly with the external auditors on the annual audit and quarterly reviews

• Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Requirements

What you need to have:
• BS/BA in related discipline from an accredited institution

• Minimum of 3 years of experience and a strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, SEC reporting requirements, IFRS, and SOX requirements

• CPA required

• Must have the legal right to work in the US

It's a plus if you have:
• Big 4 public accounting background

• Experience in financial reporting of a SEC registrant

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills with ability to act independently and responsibly

• Capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure

• Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members at all levels

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with Workiva, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
