Overview

Reporting to and invoicing through the On-Air Team Leader, and based in Auckland, this position involves shift work working any daytime and or Overnight shifts and requires someone who has enthusiasm and places an emphasis on quality and customer service. The Purpose of the role is to to check and maintain the Transmission schedule through the On-Air Presentation Suite according to the On-Air Roster.

Some of the key elements of this position will involve the proficient operation of the Harris ADC100 Presentation Automation Control System and all relevant equipment in the Presentation Suite and the Fault-free checking and playout of programmes, commercials, promos, and associated material for our Television brands.

Responsibilities
• The proficient operation of the Harris ADC100 Presentation Automation Control System and all relevant equipment in the Presentation Suite, including but not limited to the K2 Summit Video Server, Evertz QMC vision desk, ViZRT Multichannel graphics system, and the GVG Trinix routing system.
• Fault-free checking and playout of programmes, commercials, promos, music videos, and associated material for Three, Three Plus 1, Bravo, Bravo Plus 1, and any other channels in accordance with the log schedule; liaising with the Programming, News, Sales, Promos and Marketing departments.
• Transmission of Captions and liaising with Able to ensure fault free playout of closed captions.
• Initial investigation of on-air faults, and detailed entry into the On Air Presentation Fault Report.
• The Company may, after fair and reasonable consultation, change your duties, from time to time, for commercial reasons but not so as to substantially change the nature of the position.

Qualifications
• NCEA Level 2
• Mid Level experience in On-Air Presentation
• Computer literacy
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate well
• Excellent Customer service and quality control
• Mid level experience with Prime time programming and Harris ADC100 experience would be desirable
