Overview
• Ensure that all content transmitted via channels and platforms licensed in Germany complies with the relevant legal media regulations, in particular those concerning the protection of minors, and with the company's own guidelines
• Close cooperation with local acquisition-, planning- and editorial teams on planning, airtime and editing issues, and with the legal department on legal matters
• Independent evaluation and classification of content according to legal requirements and guidelines
• Training, advice and support for all specialist departments - also abroad - on regulatory issues and youth protection law, as well as the preparation of guidelines and documents
• Research of evaluation results
• Editorial processing of programs
• Participation in training courses and constant updating of information and regulations
• Willingness to cooperate also with institutions of voluntary self-regulation and media regulation
• Communication, documentation and administration of work results

Qualifications
• Degree in media or communication sciences, education, psychology or comparable
• Extensive, several years of experience in the protection of minors in the media, ideally in a TV company, an institution of self-regulation or media supervision
• Assertiveness and the ability to lead (international) teams
• Reliable and independent working methods and a high degree of responsibility
• Cooperative, communicative and team-oriented work
• Very good MS Office knowledge
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
