Job Description
The engineering team at Eurosport is responsible for designing, building, configuring and maintaining all the production and transmission systems at our offices throughout EMEA, we are currently implementing a ground up rebuild of our systems utilizing the latest in IP based technologies allowing full remote production of Live events. As these new systems cross many departmental boundaries Eurosport is looking for a Engineering / IT coordinator to ensure requests and communications between the departments flows smoothly and that all requests are followed up in a timely and efficient manner

Activities you will undertake in this role include:
• Raising Tickets for services, support and general enquiries
• Tracking tickets and responding to questions
• Working closely with both the Engineering team and Partner departments to ensure smoothest and quickest progress of all requests
• Managing change notifications to the Eurosport media systems

Eurosport Engineering are looking for an Engineering – IT coordinator to ensure excellent interdepartmental communications. In this role, you should be a first-class communicator with a strong media IT background able to ensure that interdepartmental communications run efficiently and quickly. Your goal will be to ensure all requests and tickets are raised quickly, accurately and followed up to speedy successful conclusion.

Responsibilities
• Raise tickets for Machine builds, Firewall Changes, Access, and anything else needed to keep the Engineering builds & configurations running smoothly
• Working closely with IT departments across the company to understand their capacity and advise of any likely issues
• Working with the project managers to plan needs as far as possible to advise partner departments when builds / changes are coming
• Raising access & cancellation requests for Vendors
• Maintain a diary of access expiry dates to ensure Vendors never lose access
• Coordinate with Change Advisory Board to ensure works needed by either Broadcast or IT don't cause any un-expected service interruptions
• Raise, track and ensure NOW's (Notification of Works) are fully communicated
• Generate and Maintain workflow documentation for all regular tasks undertake

Requirements
• Hands-on experience with IT ticket systems
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge of media systems
• Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX)
• Familiarity with Firewalls, Active Directory and Virtualisation (VMware preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Highly organised, good record keeping
• Organizational and leadership skills
• BTEC or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, French is also highly desirable.
• Experience in help / support desk role
• Worked within technical project environment
• Ticket raising and record keeping
• Experience with Live and Library based broadcasting needs and urgencies

Details
• Permanent contract
• Location independent but expected to be able to work from either London or Paris office as needed.
• Regular Office hours from Monday to Friday, but may include out of regular hours of working as project needs dictate
• Some travel may be required
