About us
FP&A Reporting Analyst will provide regular, global reporting distributed and communicated to executive level key stakeholders within the company.The initial reporting scope involves corporate reporting. As FP&A Reporting Analyst you will be also responsible for reports analysis to be able to identify relevant trends and movements in the data, as well as for developing tools utilized in the reporting in order to make the processes more efficient. The role requires high level communication, support and guidance to the relevant stakeholders and acting as the main point of contact between the recipients of the reports and the FP&A Team.
Responsibilities
• Prepare coherent, accurate, timely, high quality, global monthly/weekly/daily reporting (examples include DSO, cash collections reporting, cash flow forecast, etc.), distributed to senior executive stakeholders within the organization
• Analyse the reporting provided to be able to explain the rationale for any periodic movements and trends
• Use analytics to identify and report issues, trends, areas for investigation and improvement, working with the relevant teams to deliver change if needed
• Develop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions:
• Identify and create IT solutions to meet reporting and tool needs within Discovery using individual database and programming languages
• Create source codes in programming languages to create tool support for efficient management and use of BI and MIS data
• Automate Discovery reporting processes, development of interfaces between systems/databases
• Development of the presentation layer (e.g. reporting processes, reports) as well as the database layer, enumeration (e.g. report lists, cubes calculation) within the CXO reporting platform, PowerBI and data warehouse
• - Adhoc reporting based on e.g. SAP/EPM, data warehouse, CXO database
• - Ensure data quality in the systems based on developed data governance policies and implement them in the organization through a training program
• - Responsible for identifying and communicating design and scope issues to the stakeholders
• - Participate in international projects/ tasks in the field of reporting
• - Create other technical deliverable artefacts needed for project implementation
• Requirements
• Need to be passionate about the business, a self-starter / proactive individual with a 'can do' attitude
• Master Degree in Finance, Maths/ Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial planning and/or management accounting with a commercial focus
• Strong analytical and system management skills required
• Advanced Knowledge of Excel and SAP
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Power BI) as a co-creator of reports/ queries there as well as SSIS will be an asset
• Very good English
• Communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to interact with executive level stakeholders & exchange complex information in a simple way
• Accuracy, attention to details
• - Experience in multi-national, multi-currency environment, ideally a US listed company
