Overview

Golf Digest is looking for a Director of Marketing & Audience Development to develop and execute strategies related to Golf Digest's direct-to-consumer businesses. Over the next year, we will be rolling out various direct-to-consumer products. This role will be responsible for leading the charge on planning and executing marketing experiences and CRM lifecycles related to all of the various businesses. This position will work closely with our creative, product, business development, editorial and data teams to manage the promotion and execution of these new businesses.

The ideal candidate is extremely organized and can move projects forward by motivating multiple teams. This person is excited by a new challenge and can thrive in a cross-functional environment. Most importantly, this candidate is data driven and can think strategically; they have a passion for golf and understand the needs and wants of both golf fans and players.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute marketing strategy roadmap across all direct-to-consumer businesses
• Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, business development and editorial teams to plan customer journeys and campaigns
• Continually monitors campaigns and provides insight into how to optimize performance
• Develops KPI benchmarks to ensure businesses are on track to meet revenue goals
• Oversee CRM strategies and work with CRM manager to execute new campaigns
• Partner with data and product teams to execute A/B tests
• Collaborate with social, newsletter, ad ops, paid media and editorial teams to coordinate promotion of marketing messages
• Identify new growth opportunities and work with marketing team to test and execute
• Monitor competitive landscape and market trends in the golf industry
• Be the expert on the Golf Digest consumer

Qualifications
• 6-8 years experience in publishing, ideally having worked on direct-to-consumer businesses
• Understanding of direct response marketing tactics
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong ability to effectively manage multiple assignments across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
• Analytical self- starter, highly motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Bachelor's Degree
