Dick Clark Productions: Production Manager, Live Events

Dick Clark Productions (dcp), the world's largest producer and proprietor of televised live event entertainment programming, is seeking a Production Manager to bring dcp content to life by producing world-class industry and consumer-facing events. In this role, you will support the VP, Events in executing dcp's vision and strategies, participating in every aspect of event production from ideation through post-event wrap. A deep knowledge and passion for media, music, and entertainment, as well as the technology and marketing tools to deliver successful events and content, are essential.

You will support the dcp Production and Live Events teams surrounding dcp's iconic tentpoles like the American Music Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, the ACM Awards, New Year's Rockin' Eve, and the Golden Globes.

About You

The Live Events Production Manager at dcp will deliver seamless, high-quality productions, and will possess a background in live event logistics, vendor coordination, and technical production. They are organized, solutions-oriented, and thrive in high-pressure environments. You bring attention to detail and are confident managing multiple projects at once.

In This Role You Will Learn To:
• Work alongside a seasoned production team to deliver large-scale, often televised events
• Gain exposure to every phase of production, including concepting, pre-production, on-site execution, and post-event wrap
• Understand how dcp approaches creative problem solving, production strategy, and premium guest experience
• Develop key relationships with top-tier vendors, production partners, and talent teams
• Contribute to legacy event franchises while also helping shape new, emerging IP

Day to Day Responsibilities
• Support the execution of a wide range of events including live televised shows, ancillary events, and pre-recorded segments
• Coordinate production timelines and schedules across multiple departments
• Manage vendor communications, RFPs, and production logistics including staging, lighting, video, and scenic
• Lead on-site show operations such as walk-throughs, rehearsals, load-in/load-out, and strike
• Assist in the development and distribution of production documents such as contact sheets, call times, maps, and credentials
• With oversight, will manage and track budgets, process invoices and support reconciliation
• Maintain effective internal communication between departments to ensure all elements are aligned
Support compliance with insurance, permits, labor laws, union guidelines, and health & safety protocols
• Anticipate potential issues and troubleshoot real-time challenges during production

Required Skills
• 2-4 years of experience in live event, television, or experiential production
• Experience supporting or managing components of televised or high-profile public events preferred
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working cross-functionally and externally
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with Airtable, ShowFlow, or similar platforms is a plus
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours, including nights and weekends, during peak production windows
• A team player who brings a positive, can-do attitude to every phase of production

As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
