The Ideal Candidate for The Audience Development Director will play a key role in DDM’s efforts to drive long-term audience growth, audience engagement, and content outreach, by formulating and executing strategies to increase readership through innovative, cutting-edge cross-functional partner relationships, third party vendors, and marketing channels. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, and must be curious to explore and identify new expansion opportunities/platforms for a variety of digital products and properties.

To be successful in this role you must meet the minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or comparable degree
• At least five years’ experience in audience development management or comparable role
• Knowledge of paid social tactics, and a proven track record of growing audience and brands on social platforms
• Proficiency with Google Ads Manager, Facebook Business Manager, Social News Desk, or other social media management tools and analytics
• Proficient in SEO, including Google Analytics
• Experience with A/B testing
• Experience with multi-channel digital media campaign strategy and activation

COVID-19 considerations:

In response to COVID-19 The Audience Development Director position is currently remote. However, if hired you will be expected to relocate to DDM’s headquarters in Atlanta, GA in the future. Appropriate notice will be provided.
