In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the production and development of video content for all Pistons properties. Non-game night duties include all facets of video production for use in arena, on broadcast and online.
As the Production Assistant you will be an active member of the Pistons in-house video production team. This team is responsible for the production and execution of all Pistons programming including Detroit Pistons home games, digital/social content, TV & radio and Detroit Pistons auxiliary programming.

What you'll be doing:
• Produce and edit content for all Pistons properties and clients – internal and external
• Act as support or primary videographer for event coverage or interviews
• Help create new concepts to be used in-arena & on all digital/social platforms
• Think outside-the-box and help develop new creative storytelling methods
• Collaborate with other departments on both internal and external video projects
• Efficiently prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Log and tag assets within Piston's media management platform
• Other production and game night duties as assigned
What we're looking for:
• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and creative with strong communication skills
• Experience with professional video equipment (cameras, lighting, microphones)
• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with script writing is a plus
• Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube
• Basketball knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work nights/weekends/holidays as necessary
