As the G-League Event Coordinator, you will be supporting all aspects of the Facility Management department. Responsibilities include coordinating internal and external events at Little Caesars Arena (LCA), Pistons Practice Facility (PPC), WSU Fieldhouse and other offsite locations. Support in the coordination of game day activities for Pistons staff in the planning, organizing, and execution of Detroit Pistons Games at LCA and Motor City Cruise games at WSU Fieldhouse. This position will also support VIP, Corporate and Pistons Family members and ownership.

What you'll be doing:
• Coordinate and manage assigned internal and external events at LCA, PPC, WSU and/or offsite locations
• Create synopsis for all assigned events to share with appropriate departments
• Coordinate and manage Sales, Marketing, CSR and Corporate Partnership events during assigned Detroit Pistons game days LCA such as; Court of Dreams, Heritage Hall and Alumni Club events
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned Motor City Cruise basketball games at WSU Fieldhouse
• Assist with setting up the PPC Loft and/or courts as needed for events
• Assist in managing PPC tenant events
• Assist with coordination of game day employee needs at LCA (credentials, meals, parking, etc.)
• Assist with PPC tours as needed
• Assist with ownership VIP coordination
What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• At least 1 year of experience in Event Operations role required
• Excellent relationship-building skills and enjoys working with others, while also maintaining strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and a proven ability to handle multiple priorities, processes, and data
• Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Tact and patience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team building and collaboration skills
• Ability to handle highly confidential information is required
• Must be able to work a varying work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Candidates must have the ability to receive directions and requests from multiple sources and effectively prioritize their work.
