The Data Warehouse & Campaign Strategist will be responsible for the lead list and campaign build process for the Business Intelligence department. This role will also become the subject matter authority on how to most efficiently and optimally navigate the organization's data warehouse in order to support campaign all company verticals including the Pistons, Motor City Cruise, Pistons GT and 313 Presents.

What you'll be doing:
• Serve as department's primary point of contact for all list pull and lead requests.
• Be responsible for the ticket sales lead identification, cleansing, and distribution process.
• Work with Ticket Sales & Service and Marketing departments to carryout data acquisition campaigns.
• Collaborate with email and digital marketing departments to optimize marketing strategies and ad spending.
• Interpret data and trends, analyze results and work with departmental data science resources to predict future behaviors impacting data acquisition.
• Recommend, prioritize and acquire key data points from primary or secondary data sources.
• Profile customers to identify needs/wants/behaviors in key or new market segments.
• Design comprehensive data reports and presentations to assist with ongoing data strategies.
• Analyze business procedures and recommend specific types of data that can be used to assist them.
• Other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree.
• Prior experience working in a sports or entertainment organization is helpful.
• Moderate to strong proficiency in SQL or similar relational database management systems with view building, stored procedure (SPROC) and SSIS experience.
• Moderate to strong proficiency working with business intelligence software solutions, Tableau preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Maturity, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Experience compiling and analyzing data from multiple sources and using that data to build impactful presentations.
• Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with research and reporting tools is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Work Environment

Works primarily in an office environment with the expectation to attend games as required.
