Producer

Job Description

The Producer will be a creative, forward-thinking team player who will oversee the creation of dynamic and compelling content for a multiplatform , video-based shopping network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Responsible for writing, producing and gathering content

· Work closely with Executives, Editors, Talent and Hosts to define programming ideas bring content to life

· Responsible for the production of content across all distribution platforms throughout the day.

· Accurately plan the length and difficulty of tasks and projects.

· Track and maintain production schedules and project calendar.

· Assist in troubleshooting design problems and production difficulties.

· Coordinate the functional requirements of the production.

· Interface with motion graphics and music teams.

· Give notes and feedback on cuts to editors

Requirements/Skills/Knowledge

· Minimum five to seven years’ experience in television and/or digital production

· Bachelor's Degree in related field

· Ability to write, produce and gather content under heavy deadline pressure without compromising accuracy or credibility

· Passionately develop and present programming ideas

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

· Experience in a live high-volume television and/or digital environment

· Excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent presentation and client facing skills, great research and problem-solving skills.

· Self-motivated, flexible and a team player.

· Possess a great deal of initiative, energy, leadership while possessing a high level of professionalism, and adaptability.
