Create a variety of real-time VFX elements with particles, models, textures, animations and lighting effects

 

Conceptualize the visuals and movements of the UI elements in collaboration with the Art Director and the development team

 

At Beenox, a Lead has to contribute on more than one level. He/she acts as a facilitator at the operational, human, and technical levels.

 

As development tester, you will be called upon to be an invaluable ally for the other departments of the studio. You will have to develop a mastery of the content of our games and ultimately know them like the back of your hand!

 

The first objective of the Graphics Programmer is to develop and optimize the DirectX 12 pipeline rendering in the Call of Duty engine;

 

Develop quality game mechanics alongside the creative teams. Analyze the requests from other departments from a technical point of view. Implement game functionalities in C++;

 

Ensure the constant evolution of technology associated with different game platforms. Develop functionalities of the game engine: graphics, networking, optimization, physics, animation system, APIs);

 

Efficiently write the Lua code that controls the frontend, in-game UI and flow. Use the internal tools to build menu structures and implement the creative vision for the UI. Fix bugs in all aspects of UI development with the help of QA and production;

 

Determine the content of your artwork with the Art Direction and Level Design teams. Iterate quickly with concept sketches and 3D to provide options for the Art Director.

 

The Build & Automation Programmer develops, analyzes and maintains systems that support and automate the creation of builds. They also manages the material resources (hardware) and software resources linked to this process.

 

You will be asked to design lighting for levels that will be played by millions of users in Call of Duty. Needless to say, your understanding of lighting processes, environment composition, color theory, pipelines, techniques and best practices for lighting will be put to good use.

 

You'll be responsible for designing these elements and applying appropriate textures. Your skills in zBrush, Substance, and any other available software will be put to good use. You'll have a significant impact on the levels to which you're assigned.
