The Job

CNN+ is looking for a Sr. Director of Integrated Marketing & Planning to join the Growth Marketing team. This role is focused on aligning company-wide marketing activities to develop holistic, high-impact and performance-driven marketing campaigns for CNN+ across all consumer touchpoints (paid, owned, and earned). The Sr. Director, Integrated Marketing & Planning will communicate overarching business, marketing, and financial objectives to a cross-functional team of subject matter experts and will ensure all marketing efforts are coordinated and rolling up to established KPIs. This position will report directly to the SVP of Growth Marketing.

The Daily
• Partner with business and finance teams to develop and manage the overarching CNN+ marketing budget, track spend to business objectives and performance metrics, and adjust as needed to meet goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish holistic, omni-channel marketing campaigns for CNN+ that are aligned across all consumer touchpoints (e.g. Creative Marketing, Paid Media, Organic Social, CRM, Owned & Operated Media, Corporate Synergy, Communications, Partnerships, Events, etc.)
• Develop and share Product Marketing POV, communication points, and creative needs to be incorporated into overall CNN+ marketing strategy
• Lead weekly meetings, develop marketing briefs, update calendars and activity trackers, and facilitate sharing of any relevant information that will shape and/or impact marketing strategy (e.g. key dates, business updates, performance metrics, product roadmap, consumer research, etc.)
• Determine needs and work with various internal teams to develop cross-platform marketing measurement tools that leverage data to drive decision making, budget allocation, and campaign optimization
• Prepare marketing presentations and recaps for senior leadership and other internal/external partners as needed

The Essentials
• 10+ years marketing experience, with hands-on experience leading Integrated Marketing at a large media company a plus
• Strong expertise in modern multi-channel marketing, with an emphasis on digital marketing and end-to-end consumer experience
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple, highly skilled teams that contribute to overarching marketing strategy and campaigns
• Experience working with business and finance partners to establish and manage large-scale marketing budgets, including regular reforecasting based on performance
• Strategic thinker, problem solver, and experienced project manager and communicator with the ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
• Experience working with research and data & analytics teams to measure and communicate marketing efficacy across channels
